Who are Suspension Theatre?

We are a company of four Bristol based women creating Theatre for Change. We devise original, socially relevant theatre and use drama and creativity to create opportunities for marginalised female groups to have their voices heard.

Our vision is to improve the lives of socially isolated or disadvantaged people by providing opportunities for creative expression through drama and theatre. We believe having access to the arts and a medium for creativity is fundamental to happiness; it can give you a sense of self worth, confidence, expression and belonging and everyone should have access to it regardless of age, class, background, race, previous experience.

Emerging company Suspension Theatre are a perfect example of what exciting, honest, innovative, theatre looks like. As one of the best Bristol-based companies in the scene right now, they are one to watch.
